The Wildwood Pines Observatory was a roll-off roof observatory located in my backyard on a 2.3 acre treeless lot near Earl, NC (45 miles west of Charlotte). I built the observatory over 12 weekends between November 2005 and February 2006. The observatory was in use from 2006 until 2010 when I moved to Hawaii.
