Marsenius is in the middle. Marsenius is 53 miles in diameter and 1.43 miles deep. The bigger crater on the upper right edge of the image is called Gassendi. Gassendi is 69 miles across and 1.2 miles deep. It has three peaks in the middle of the crater. Gassendi is on the northern edge of Mare Humorum. Near the top middle of this image is crater Zupus with the north-south ridge casting a shadow on the right edge of Zupus. Note the long north-south rille running between Marsenius and Gassendi. |
