| The pier originally used for the C-14 telescope was set in concrete outside the dome for use with an 8" Meade LX-200 telescope. In this image the pier is covered but the Dr. Dire's C5 telescope on a CG-5 mount resides next to it. A post and rail fense was erected around the observatory in 2002. |
